For this Position: Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to pass pre-employment screening, must have valid Driver's License OR State ID. Internship is Paid, full-time, working 32-40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. Job is in an in-office setting in Royal Oak, MI. Entry Level (prior experience with record keeping softwares are not required), willing to train the right candidate.
Description: The Assistant Registrar will assist office staff with documentation, filing, and various other forms of record keeping including management/upkeep of online record keeping databases. Tasks can also consist of: assisting in Permitting processes, attending virtual meetings regarding documentation and permitting, answering phones, production of Excel spreadsheets/templates, taking messages, mailing, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, attention to detail, ability to think strategically, and ability to adhere to the company's existing record keeping policies and processes. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as a Team Member. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills, tasks, etc. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office softwares; Word and Excel are strongly preferred. Familiarity with ZIMS (Species360) is highly recommended.
